Rare old Dalton Combat Cutlery knife "CQC7". Black anodized aluminum handles with 4 black square rubber inlays on one side and just 1 inlay on clip side. Lanyard hole. Removable pocket clip for tip up carry. Heavy duty, hard use, partially serrated, chisel ground tanto blade is made from 3/16" stock, nice extra grind on top and grooves, cut in thumb ramp on spine of blade for sure grip. This button activated automatic, slams out plenty hard, just like all Daltons. Very Hard to Find and Desirable, old Dalton Knife. This is the real deal, one of the knives that put Dalton on the map, because it's a great knife.

At first glance it looks like they forgot the button! But the Dalton Experimental Packer is a coil fired automatic. Here's how it works: The massive auto blade on this knife is triggered by pressing in towards the blade on the liner lock looking tab just below the pivot pin. Press that and the blade slams out hard into the open and locked position. To release the blade from open and locked you press back in again on the tab. You might find this set up to be quite a bit more low profile than the standard nipple plunge buttons found on most autos as this one is really completely hidden and does not even resemble any other auto knife ever made. This new mechanism is all Dalton's own. This is also an extra stout design - super wide belly blade 4 1/3" with a nice wide handle there's plenty to hang onto here! Each knife is serial numbered and marked EXP PACKER on the blade and tang stamped DALTON on the reverse of the blade. Not many of these made. These knives also feature the updated 2004 clip design. Serial Number 046

Dalton knife "First To Fight" just like the minuteman in the American Revolution - manufactured March 2004. Nice looking two tone blade has "First To Fight" carved on one side(in Cursive) - other side "DALTON - USA". Blue handle has red and white veining with "S" grooves in middle of both sides for superior grip. 13 dots in half moon around pivot pin with "MINUTEMAN" stamped along last S groove on end of handle. Newly designed pocket clip is easier on pockets. Hard hitting Dalton action. A great looking knife with a great feel and one of my favorite Dalton's.
