German Eye Brand" is one of the few manufacturers that still uses hammer forged Solingen carbon steel. Some knife lovers will settle for nothing less than Hammer forged Carbon steel blades. These blades are known for their edge-holding ability and easy re-sharpening. However, Carbon Steel is less resistant to rusting, pitting and discoloration than stainless steel. This is a gorgeous two blade Sodbuster with very High Quality.
Note: Extra care is needed with Carbon Steel blades.
Keep a thin film of oil on the blade to maintain the finish of the steel.
