This Kershaw Knife "Mammoth Tooth Leek", modified by the artisans at Santa Fe Stoneworks. Gorgeous mammoth tooth (Rare) has been attached on one side only. SpeedSafe mechanism with torsion bar technology for assisted opening. Blade is composite made of sandvik steel with a CPM-D2 cutting edge drop point blade. Thumb stud, lanyard hole and reversible pocket clip. Safety lock. This new knife is larger than the Chive or Scallion. Really a nice knife designed by Ken Onion and modified by Santa Fe Stoneworks. Comes in a nice folding display box.

Lapis Lazuli:
Gorgeous blue with gold flecks of pyrite that twinkle, just like little galaxies. Lapis Lazuli was worn by the ancient Persians, Egyptians, Greeks and Romans. Proof of trade in Lapis can be traced back 40 centuries ago to the city of UR on the Euphrates river. Lapis is greek for stone and Lazuli (Azul) is arabic for deep blue. Scarabs, rings, seals, hair ornaments and necklaces were fabricated from Lapis - the ancients loved and admired lapis, attributing friendship and healthy relationships to the sparkling gemstone.

Kaleidoscope Designs (KD)
This is a collaboration with master inlay artist Steve Rosenblum. Originally from Long Island, New York, Steve moved to New Mexico in 1976 where he began his career producing intricate inlays. The Southwest had a major influence in his designs. Several years ago, he moved to Vermont and opened Rainbo Woodworks. These elaborate inlays are created form treated domestic hardwoods using a process similar to that found in the finest handmade quilts.
