Lone Wolf Knife "Rattler Paul Defender". The handles, side plates and blade of this beautiful Paul® Defender were enhanced by Michael Prater, noted custom knife maker/artist. The Defender features his custom file-work on the back of the blade, the “Painted Pony” logo laser engraved onto the blade, custom sculptured side plates and handles. The handle is also inlaid with a lacquer coated rattle snake skin that is highly polished to a beautiful luster that compliments the custom sculpture work. The knife is displayed in a walnut box with glass viewing lid to protect and display the knife proudly. The glass is etched with Lone Wolf Knives, Michael’s name and logo designating him as the artist.

This Limited Edition project is limited to 50 pieces, this one is #42. Each knife comes with a certificate of authenticity designating the artist, the number of your individual knife and the total quantity of knives built. You will be proud to own and display this unique and attractive knife. The new Paul® Defender is quick to open & close, tough and great looking. The exciting design of the Paul® Defender was a collaboration between Lone Wolf designers and Paul Poehlmann the inventor of the Paul Axiel locking mechanism. Limited Edition Lone Wolf Knife "Prater Wolf Eyes Paul Defender". The handles, side plates and blade of this beautiful Paul® Defender were enhanced by Michael Prater, noted custom knife maker/artist. Michael has been building custom knives since 1981 and began applying his unique artistic abilities to factory knives since 1999. Michael says his Native American “Cherokee” heritage guides his design creativity with themes that blend with the function of knives and their place in the history of his people. In 2003 he trademarked the “Painted Pony” brand that represents his custom artistry today. Our Defender features his custom file-work on the back of the blade, the “Painted Pony®” logo laser engraved onto the blade, custom sculptured side plates and handles. The handle is also inlaid with natural mother-of-pearl that is laser engraved with Michael’s original drawing of “Wolf Eyes”. The overall look of these artistic elements is quite striking and complementary to each other for a bold and exotic appearance. The knife is displayed in a walnut box with glass viewing lid to protect and display the knife proudly. The display box is etched with Lone Wolf Knives and Michael’s name and logo designating him as the artist. Limited Edition Lone Wolf knife 'Wisdom Warrior". A R.W. (Bob) Loveless design blade with an integral guard. Customized by Ron Yellowhorse and decorated with hand-fitted natural materials including turquoise, bloody basin jasper, white bone, black jet, green malachite and sterling silver. The "Wisdom Warrior" commemorates the war chiefs of the Navajo Indian tribe who were the counsel's expert's on war strategy's. Each knife is hand signed by Ron Yellowhorse. Comes in zip up storage pouch with wood and plexiglas display stand. Only 100 were made a couple years ago.
