Rare Microtech OTF Knife "Combat Talon II W/ Brend Grind". Anodized 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum handle with the claw logo. This Combat Talon II features a Hand Ground Walter Brend blade grind with a hand satin finish. The blade on this single action out-the-front automatic knife fires with a push of the front mounted firing button. The blade is released by the liner-lock style tab and with a pull of the charging handle at the base. There is a safety on the front of the handle for safe use. Very rare and extremely collectible old Microtech knife. Born February of 2000. This knife is in excellent condition and has only been fired a handful of times. Included is a form-fitted hard sheath with clip.

One of the key features of the Daytona is a spring that is in an “at rest” position at all times, until the switch is activated and the blade is deployed. When a spring remains compressed, it can become fatigued. By keeping the spring in an uncompressed state, it assures that this automatic knife will operate effectively every time it is fired. The biggest difference between the Halo V series and the previous models is the size. At almost 11" the Halo V is a big knife with a big blade (over 4"!). In addition to being long, the blade is extremely thick. To ensure the best blade/handle ratio the tips on these knives come right up to the top of the handle (be warned- don't drag your finger across the blade's exit point!). The action on these is fast, they hit hard, and the lock-up is excellent. This Halo V model has blue anodized aluminum handles. The knife closes via a blue anodized retracting handle at the bottom of the knife. The razor sharp Tanto blade is satin finished D2 tool steel. Textured firing button is located beneath the claw logo on the front of the handle. A nylon sheath is included with the Halo V.

The blade hits out hard at the push of the button. Custom blade lock with "F" and "S" indicating fire and safety positions. The unique liner lock allows the charging bar to be released and the blade to be retracted and loaded. The charging bar is etched "A.MARFIONE 11/2010 NEMESIS IV S/N 035". To ensure the best blade/handle ratio the tips on these knives come right up to the top of the handle (be warned- don't drag your finger across the blade's exit point!). The action on these is fast, they hit hard, and the lock-up is excellent. The Halo V knives have black anodized aluminum handles. The knife closes via an bead blast finished retracting handle at the bottom of the knife. The razor sharp Tanto blade is two tone black finished D2 tool steel. Textured firing button is located beneath the claw logo on the front of the handle. A nylon sheath is included with the Halo V.
